    Controller of Personal Information
Any personal information processed by Create & Connect CIC in connection with this
Privacy Policy is controlled by Create & Connect CIC, which is considered the “data
controller” of your personal information under European Union and UK data protection
    law.

There may be occasions when we work in partnership with other parties who also have
access to and process your personal data and who will also be separately considered a
“data controller” under European Union and UK data protection law. You can access the
privacy policies of the other partners via their own websites.

When using our website, we collect the following data:
We may ask you for certain information to give you the best possible experience when
you engage with us (via our website or otherwise) and when you use our services.
Invariably, this will be basic personal contact information (name, email address,
    contact telephone number).

There may be occasions when we require additional personal information which we will
seek your consent to process, proceed via contract or act to service legitimate interests
    of both parties.

When and why do we collect ‘sensitive personal data’?
Certain categories of personal information, such as that about race, ethnicity, religion,
health, sexuality or biometric information are special categories of data requiring
additional protection under European Union and UK data protection law and is referred
to here as “sensitive personal data”. Generally, we try to limit the circumstances where
we collect and process sensitive personal data however where necessary we will
invariably seek your explicit “opt in” consent.

What do we use your personal information for?
We will process your personal data as a customer, partner or service provider in order to
undertake our operational activities, to provide services as detailed within our company
website and discharge our obligations as detailed within any contract.

What is our legal basis for using your personal information?
Create & Connect CIC will only process your personal information where we have a
legal basis to do so. The legal basis will depend on the reason or reasons Create &
Connect CIC collected and needs to use your information. Under EU and UK data
protection laws in almost all cases, the legal basis will be:
  • Because we need to use your information so that we can process your
    request for our services
  • Because it is in Create & Connect CIC’s legitimate interests to use your
personal information to operate and improve our business
  • Because Create & Connect CIC needs to use your personal information to
    comply with a legal obligation.
  • To protect the vital interests of you or another person.
  • Because you have consented to Create & Connect CIC using your
    information for a particular purpose.

With whom do we share your data
We invariably do not share your data and merely process it internally within Create &
Connect CIC in accordance with our lawful basis principles. If there is a requirement to
share with third parties, then we will only do so in exceptional circumstances either with
your explicit consent, in compliance with any contractual obligations, through normal
business activities to preserve legitimate interests or in compliance with the legal
provisions as detailed within the Act.

How long do we keep your data
We will keep your information for as long as necessary in order to fulfil the service we
are providing, and to comply with local laws. We operate a data deletion process which
is dependant on the nature of the data and the nature of the processing.

Where do we store your data
Your data will be stored on password protected computer systems in the UK or in a
locked filing cabinet (if hard copy).
